Integrated Media Publishing invited Nelson Mullins Partner Christopher Hanson to join other leading voices in biotech for a roundtable discussion on the growth of the life sciences industry in South Carolina. Hanson and other panelists chimed in on the industry’s forecasted trajectory as it expands beyond manufacturing.
“I would also say that what's great for the life sciences companies that are located here is that they can actually get the consultants, the service providers that they need in-state,” said Hanson. “They don't have to go to the FDA regulatory counsel in Washington, D.C. They don't have to get government contract support in Washington, D.C. They have the whole ecosystem right here in their backyard.”
Hanson is the chair of the firm’s FDA Regulatory Compliance & Litigation practice group. He assists clients in tackling their most sophisticated and high-stakes regulatory issues across a range of product categories, including medical devices, human and animal drugs, in vitro diagnostics (IVDs), conventional foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, radiation-emitting electronic products, and clinical laboratories.
