Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP of counsel attorney Karen Rigberg co-wrote a chapter in a recent publication titled, “Environmental, Social, Governance: The Practitioner’s Guide to the Law and Practice of ESG” by the American Bar Association (ABA). Her chapter, “Spotting and Navigating Antitrust Risks” is about ESG issues and how they interact with Antitrust laws and regulations.
The book is divided into five parts and has 24 chapters designed to help corporations and lawyers manage a variety of legal risks while supporting ESG activities. Rigberg’s chapter provides antitrust guidance on ESG related activities that incorporate, for example, working with competitors and industry groups, supply chain management, benchmarking, DEI, and other employment efforts.
