The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches has appointed West Palm Beach partner Kristin Ahr to its Board of Directors. 

The Board of Directors governs all executive functions for the Chamber, including planning events, making connections with members and outside stakeholders, and dealing with its interest committees. The Chamber is an active force in the development and promotion of the area's business community. Members benefit from a robust rotation of events, including professional networking opportunities, committee meetings, seminars, workshops, and taskforces. 

A resident of Palm Beach County since 1976, Ahr has been practicing law in Florida for over 25 years and focuses her practice on employment litigation and compliance and commercial litigation. She serves as counsel to a broad range of clients, public and private, in both federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies, and alternative dispute resolution forums. More recently, Ahr has focused on assisting employer clients through the various laws, rules and regulations related to or arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic, including many of the firm’s healthcare clients.

Outside of her everyday practice, Ahr also finds time to contribute to her community through leadership in professional and community organizations. She has been involved with various committees for The Florida Bar and is a member of HR Palm Beach County, Society for Human Resource Management, and Palm Beach County Bar Association. She has also served on the boards for TrustBridge, Inc. and Making Every Day Count, Inc.
