Law360 Selects Partner Jahmy Graham as 2023 Rising Star

Law360

LOS ANGELES – Jahmy Graham, a litigation partner based in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Los Angeles office, has been named a 2023 Rising Star in Class Actions by Law360.

The annual list features attorneys under age 40 “whose legal accomplishments belie their age,” according to the publication. Winners were chosen based on their career accomplishments in their respective practices.

“I’m honored to receive this recognition for the class action work my team and I’ve undertaken for my clients,” Graham said. “My class action and civil trial practice spans many cross-sections of the law, including the defense side and some high impact pro bono class action litigation on the plaintiff’s side,” he continued. “In many ways, although I’ve already come a long way, I feel like I’m still just getting started in expanding my and my team’s footprint in pursuing and helping procure justice for my clients.”

Graham represents clients in cases that involve many industries and issues, including the automotive industry, healthcare, retail, technology, online matchmaking/dating industry, entertainment, contract, warranty, tort, false advertising, and product liability claims. For example, he has successfully litigated several consumer class actions involving claims of alleged false advertising, including obtaining victories at trial, class certification, and dispositive motion practice.

He has published articles on the topic of collective actions, substantially contributing articles for Thomson Reuters and Practical Law regarding state and federal class actions in the United States.

Graham has also been involved in significant pro bono cases, where he has handled a broad range of matters, including immigration, civil rights, criminal justice reform, and family law.
