Two West Virginia Attorneys Named ‘Super Lawyers’

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Nelson Mullins Huntington Office Managing Partner Marc Williams and partner Robert Massie have been chosen for the 2023 West Virginia 'Super Lawyers' list. Massie is ranked for his work in the Transportation and Maritime industry, while Williams is ranked for his involvement in Class Actions.

Williams is the managing partner of the Huntington office and is a team leader. He handles complex cases nationally in an array of litigation areas and has had first-chair responsibility for more than 100 jury trials and appeals in his career.

Massie handles complex and high–risk litigation in West Virginia state and federal courts, as well as a variety of other jurisdictions. He has significant first chair trial experience in all types of litigation involving serious personal injury/wrongful death, mass torts, class actions, and insurance litigation involving coverage, defense, and bad faith.

According to the organization, the selection process includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.
