LOS ANGELES — Benchmark Litigation has chosen three Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP partners: Ryan E. Cosgrove, Jahmy Graham and Barry J. Koopmann, to its 2023 40 & Under List.
Both Cosgrove and Graham were selected for their work in commercial and product liability in the West region, while Koopmann was selected for product liability and recall in the Midwest region.
Cosgrove and Graham are both partners in the Los Angeles office. Koopmann is a partner in the Minneapolis office.
Cosgrove handles product and premises liability, transportation, and general commercial litigation matters, including the defense of catastrophic injury claims involving manufacturers and suppliers of consumer products and automobiles. He is involved in all phases of complex litigation from initial filings through trial at the state and federal court levels and is also experienced in appellate practice.
Graham, a trial lawyer and class action litigator, represents clients in cases that involve many industries and issues, including the automotive industry, healthcare, retail, technology, contract, warranty, tort, dating services, false advertising, and product liability claims.
Koopmann defends product manufacturers in high-stakes litigation nationwide. He has served as national coordinating counsel in high-profile medical device trials and appeals. He has extensive experience working with experts in mass torts, identifying and developing experts, preparing experts for depositions and trials, and defending and taking expert depositions.
